Dunwoody High School names Leah Mihm Head Coach Varsity

February 17, 2015 - Leah Mihm has been named the Head Coach of the Dunwoody Varsity Volleyball team succeeding Steve Wilcosky who took the Head Coaching positon at Life University.  

Mihm has an impressive resume having coached volleyball at youth, high school and collegiate levels.  Leah played her high school volleyball at Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, FL and then played collegiately at the Univeristy of Montevello where she was the starting blocker from 1998-2001.  Leah then began her coaching career at Northwest Missouri State University as a graduate assistance for two season.  Since 2006 Leah has held Varsity Head Coching positons at Cardinal Mooney High School, Mount Pisgah Christian School and Kings Ridge Christian School.  Leah who has coached at North Atlanta Volleyball Club since moving to Atlanta in 2009 is currently the Head Coach of the 18-1's team at North Atlanta Volleyball Club (NAVC) and is the Associate Director-Operations for NAVC.  Leah is also a coach for USA Volleyball High Performance feeder program. 

Leah looks forward to the opportunity with the Dunwoody Volleycats and guiding the team to a very successful 2015 season and beyond. 

The Dunwoody VolleyCats made it to the  5A State Volleyball Tournament semi-final match in 2014 and look to return this year to the GHSA playoffs as the VolleyCats only lose three Seniors from the 2014 roster.
