Below are answers to the most frequently asked questions.  Links to our website are also provided below for easy access to NAVC website.

Q: What is club volleyball?
A:  Club volleyball for lack of better terms travel volleyball.  Club volleyball is a competitive (not recreational) program for girls ages 10-18.  

Q: What age group will by daughter play in?
A:  You can go to this link SRVA make sure to have 2017-18 season in the drop down box and then enter birth date or you can go refer to the 
USAV Age Definitions

Q: When do tournaments begin and end?
A;  Most of our NAVC teams will begin tournaments mid January and end their tournament season end of April.  Tournaments are held on weekends (Saturday's and Sunday's) Our top level teams tournament season is mid January-end of June. Tentative Tournament & Practice Schedule 2017-18

Q: Is travel involved?
A: Yes, depending on the team your daughter is selected to play on there will be at least one travel tournament (2 nights hotel).  Refer to

Q: When are Tryouts:
A: 14 & U NAVC Tryouts Oct 14th and Oct 15th
    15-18 age group week of Oct 29th

Q: What does it cost?
A:  Club volleyball Club volleyball requires a sizeable investment due to cost of uniforms, facilities, coaching (none of our coaches are parents they are all professionals), equipment, administrative cost, tournament cost, travel cost etc. Please refer to the Player Fee Charts for details by age group and level of team.

Q: Where do practices occur?
A:  NAVC offers NAVC West & NAVC East.  Our NAVC West practices at Lakepoint Champion Center in Emerson, GA Click Here to go to Lakepoint Website  Our NAVC East practices at various schools/church facilities in Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area.  Click Here for List of Practice Locations

Q: When are practices:
A: Practices for NAVC teams will begin week of Nov 16th and end week of April 22nd (our top level teams will continue through June).  NAVC East teams will practice on Sunday's and 1-2 week nights, NAVC West teams will practice on Sunday's Nov 26-Dec 17 plus 1-2 week nights and then 2 week nights only mid January-April.  Please refer to our Tentative Tournament & Practice Schedule 2017-18

Q: When are Information Meetings and who attends?
A:  We have planned our Information Meetings to occur at the same time as our Open Gyms. Players would be attending our Open Gyms and parents would be attending our Information Meetings.  If player wants to attend Information Meeting she is welcome.

Q: How would my daughter prepare for tryouts?

Q: How do I register for Tryouts?
A:  You will need to register you daughter for tryouts at our website ( if you are new to NAVC you will need to set up an account/profile) Tryout Reigstration  You will also need to register your daughter with our governing body Southern Region Volleyball Association (SRVA).  The SRVA registration process will open Sept 15th

Q:Who are the Coaches?
A: We are finalizing our roster of Coaches for NAVC West and NAVC East and will post Sept 10th under the Coaching tab on the home page of our website NAVC Website

Q:What does NAVC offer for my daughter to be recruited by colleges?
A: NAVC offers a comprehensive recruiting program led by Coach Steve Wilcosky, Recruiting Coordinator. We have a partnership with SportsRecruits and provide this program to players on our 15-18's team's. NAVC is very proud of the fact that over the last five years any player who wanted to play at the next level found a home to continue her volleyball career. Last season we had 10 players commit to colleges and this year we have three players in class of 2018 make verbal commitments to play at the next level.  NAVC Recruiting Program
