May 6, 2016 - Congratulations to the Head Coach Beth Van Fleet and the Georgia State Panthers Beach Volleyball squad for their selection to the inaugural 2016 National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship.  
NAVC is proud of this major accomplishment and especially proud of Coach Damien Scott who volunteers as an Assistant Coach with the GA State program.  Damien coaches our NAVC 17-1's team and is the NAVC Coaching Director.  
The NCAA inaugural 2016 National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship will be held this weekend in Gulf Shores.  The eight- team bracket will be the NCAA's 90th and newest National Championship.  The field was selected from the 60 NCAA institutions sponsoring the sport of beach volleyball.

GA State plays in the first round today Friday May 6th 11:00 am CST (10:00 am EST).

The championship will be held Friday through Sunday, May 6-8, in Gulf Shores, Ala., hosted by the city of Gulf Shores, University of Alabama at Birmingham and Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Sports Commission. The event will be televised live by Turner networks, with truTV providing live coverage on Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7, from 3-6 p.m. ET and the championship round airing on TBS on Sunday, May 8, at 2 p.m. Additional Live streaming coverage of every court in each match of the tournament will be available on
