What Players and Parents are saying about NAVC

NAVC has been such a huge part of my life since 2014 when I first began playing club volleyball. I don't think I could have chosen a better community to be apart of and improve on my game. The coaches at NAVC are one of the main reasons I chose this program in the first place because they genuinely care and want the very best for you. They push you in ways that can not only improve your skills but make you an overall better player on and off the court. I also love being apart of this family because it allows me to have time to be involved with other things as well as club volleyball. I definitely would not have wanted to choose a better program to play my favorite sport and be surrounded by a community of outgoing and amazing people.” Maddie Lloyd-player

“I came to NAVC last year for the 2016-2017 season and I loved the coaching, competition, and friendships that I made. My coach helped me value the game, the friends I made on the team encouraged me to be a better player, and the competition made us stronger as a team whether we won or lost. I look forward to the 2017-2018 season!!

"My daughter, started taking clinics last winter with your club and had never played volleyball prior to starting her first clinic in January.  She participated in the winter & spring clinics as well as two summer camps, one of which was the MS tryout prep camp.  I am happy to say that she made the 7th grade volleyball team at Westminster.  She is so excited and I just wanted to thank you and your staff for helping her gain the skills she needed to make the team."

" I'm riding back from AAU's in Orlando , I am reflecting on how blessed Kate has been to be part of the NAVC family. From the great coaching staff, to the players and family... this has been an unreal experience. Words cannot express how thankful I am for navc. Kate is such a better player and has learned a greet deal! Thank you to you and your staff for the great dedication you have for these girls!!!!"

"I wanted to let you know how grateful we are for a fantastic volleyball experience with NAVC this year. Caitlin has grown and improved, and we have been so pleased with the communication, organization, coaching, professionalism, culture, and spirit of this club. It's hard to strike the balance between focusing on the wins and the development of the players and teams, while still maintaining the love for the game, the joy of the competition, and the culture of sportsmanship, respect, and perspective - these often get lost when the win is the only thing you are after.  You have done a great job of leading that charge and we are beneficiaries of Bri, Jody, and Burney bringing that to life for Caitlin and her teammates. Thank you!"

“WOW! What a great season we’ve had with Audrey as our 14E head coach. She’s helped my daughter, Zoe define her game and gain the confidence that is needed to play at this level. It’s been a wonderful experience overall for our family and Audrey has been instrumental in that.”

“NAVC is not just a club, it’s a community…it’s a family.   From the Club Director, who personally takes an interest in every player and even attends their school matches, to the wonderful coaches who do the same, our experience with NAVC has been truly special.   Having moved here over 2 years ago, we struggled finding a sense of community here in Atlanta and found it within NAVC.   Our entire family has made close friendships through the club – the families are also part of what makes this club special.   From a competitive perspective, the highest compliment I have for NAVC is having the coach for the #1 HS volleyball team in the state take an interest in my player.   The coach specifically asked where Emma played club this past season, noting she had improved a lot (NAVC Sand also contributed to her growth, might I add), and asked if she was willing to work hard to play setter on the HS team.   As a middle school player and a parent, having the love we already had for this club in our hearts, it just doesn’t get any better than that!   This confirmed what we already knew…that we made the right choice when joining NAVC!”
“As a North Atlanta parent for the past 3 years we have witnessed positive change each season.  The club continues to get stronger each season with committed coaches, valuable camps, instructional clinics and more competitive girls.  As volleyball grows in the region NAVC is paving the way setting girls on the right path.”
“My daughter played on the NAVC 16G team this past season.  Julia grew athletically, mentally and physically during her club season.  Coach Jordan challenged Julia in every way possible knowing she had potential and was willing to work hard.  The coaches encouraged and made Julia determined to succeed and push through when things get hard.  All of those associated with NAVC were extremely helpful and supportive.  It was amazing to see the “family” of NAVC at tournaments with other teams, coaches and parents cheering on our team.  Craig LaFontaine is an excellent Club Director.  My daughter met him at an open gym.  He did not know Julia, yet was on the court encouraging and cheering for her at all events including tryouts, practices and tournaments.  After meeting Coach Craig and Coach Jordan Julia knew she wanted to play for NAVC.  We visited other clubs in the Atlanta are, we are glad we chose NAVC, our experience has been great and we believe this is the best volleyball club in the Atlanta area.”

“Last season was our daughter’s first year club volleyball experience.  We had heard many good things about NAVC but our expectations were by far exceeded.  We were truly impressed with the entire organization including the quality of coaches, administrative staff and travel arrangements.  Those three key elements allowed our daughter to focus on developing great skills and a passion for the sport.”
“We have been a part of the NAVC family for two year and have found that what sets NAVC apart from other clubs is the coaching staff.  All the coaches are not only knowledgeable, but love the sport of volleyball, which shows in everything they do.
My daughter participated in the inaugural season of NAVC Sand during the summer and loved it!  The coaching staff (Cory, Paul, Audrey and Tricia) were fantastic and their enthusiasm was contagious!
We look forward to the upcoming year with NAVC, both club and sand-we are excited about the changes and know that it will only make NAVC even better!”
Can’t say enough about the NAVC coaching staff.  What a classy group!!  They work hard coaching the girls on the court but also have a fun sense about them off the court.  All of them have a unique and fascinating way of communicating with these hormonal young ladies, which we all know is not an easy task especially if you don’t have kids.  The 17N players AND coaches are very friendly, respectful and cheer for other teams during matches!  The good vibe starts at the top and works its way down to the players.  It was refreshing to see a supportive NAVC network.  Please extend a pat on the back to coaches – Paul, Theresa, Chris, Matt and Cory for a good job!
I just wanted to say that I saw many of my friends this weekend whose daughters play for other clubs in the Atlanta area and all of them who watched us play commented on how much they liked our coaches.  They particularly said how nice it was to see them helping the girls when they made a mistake and instructing them throughout the game.  I couldn’t agree more and thought I would pass along those compliments!!  Thanks
After watching coach’s from other clubs criticize, humiliate, punish & make their players cry it is a relief to know that the NAVC coach’s encourage the players to get the best out of them and not threaten and abuse the players.  Courtney’s high energy is amazing. She consistently encourages the girls to do their best and is a wonderful coach and role model.  We seldom see coach’s from other clubs act like your NAVC coach’s.
