Big South Update Day 1 & Day 2

April 4, 2015 - Summary Day 1 & 2:
I am sure that over the last two days those of you attending Big South NQ understand the talent level of teams that come to Atlanta for the BSQ.  I am so proud of our 16 teams and how they have battled over the last two days.  I have seen desire, commitment, competitiveness, team work, leadership, a lot of smiles and teams and individuals who have become better during this season.

As I walked around the GWCC the last two days I was able to witness the spirit of the players and our NAVC parents.  I can't think of a better example of NAVC spirit than cutting your hair to show NAVC.   David Schlageter is one of our 13 Courtney parents, I am thinking this will win our end of the year Spirit Award!

NAVC have 16 teams participating in the Big South NQ.   After Day 1 on Friday NAVC had 7 teams that advanced to the D1 brackets which means that these teams have an opportunity to get to the Gold Bracket and earn a bid to the USAV National Championship.  These teams included 18 Leah, 16 Bri, 16 Paul, 15 Rob, 14 Steve, 13 Ashley, 12 Amanda.

At NQ's depending on the number of teams, there are Gold, Silver, Bronze brackets and Flights.  If you want to understand how this is all set up Click Here to take a look at 12 American as an example. Having a team earn their way into the Gold or Silver bracket is tremendous success.
