NAVC Partners With SportsRecruits

November 22, 2016 - SANDY SPRINGS, GA – November, 2016 – North Atlanta Volleyball Club and SportsRecruits have reached an agreement on a club integration, it was announced today. As part of the agreement, North Atlanta Volleyball Club staff and players will receive access to the innovative suite of tools provided by the recruiting platform.

“The integration with SportsRecruits will allow our athletes to be marketed in a way that is required in today’s recruiting landscape,” said Steve Wilcosky, Lead Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. “It gives athletes the tools to get their name and talents in front of college coaches.”

“It organizes the chaos of recruiting,” said Steve Wilcosky about the benefits of the platform. “And allows families to monitor the process.”

“I am thrilled for this opportunity to integrate with SportsRecruits,” said Wilcosky. “This will help our athletes connect with a wider network of college coaches.”

“SportsRecruits allows the families of NAVC the opportunity to market their daughters in a time-efficient and effective way.”

SportsRecruits is a technology solution that automatically organizes the recruiting process for club staff and players. With SportsRecruits, players share their athletic stats, academic transcripts, event schedule and video. The Built-In Messaging System connects the club to every college coach in the country.

A Multifaceted Solution

At North Atlanta Volleyball Club, student-athletes and staff each have key roles to play. Players need to research schools, contact coaches, and play at events. Club staffers need to guide athletes and advocate on their behalf to college coaches.

SportsRecruits enables North Atlanta Volleyball Club staff and players to work in tandem.

“We have many talented young athletes that would like to further their volleyball careers,” said Steve Wilcosky. “SportsRecruits allows the athlete and the coaches to meet that need, while allowing us to monitor the recruiting process in a simple and organized way.”

One of the best features of the platform is putting the tools needed for success right into the hands of the student-athlete. With the platform, players can organize their target list of schools and personal information, contact coaches and track their progress.

NAVC staff can monitor all of this activity, which allows them to provide guidance to ensure that players are doing their part in the recruiting process.

“SportsRecruits provides an organized way for the athlete to reach their goal of playing at the next level,” said Wilcosky. “Without the added pressure of not knowing where to begin in the process.”

About North Atlanta Volleyball Club

Founded in 1991 by Mr. Keith Ricketts, NAVC has served the Atlanta community for over 22 years. Club volleyball has helped numerous girls cultivate self-confidence and self-esteem, understand athletic challenges and sportsmanship, and grow into fine young women. Volleyball opens many doors for female student-athletes who need assistance financing their higher education, or simply wish to use volleyball as a springboard for being admitted to a particular school. NAVC is very proud to be a part of these processes.

NAVC firmly believe that they are training young women who will one day not only be strong wives and mothers, but also doctors, lawyers, teachers and CEOs. They continue to center their club in the Sandy Springs, GA area. They are proud of their stability. NAVC is the longest running junior volleyball club in metropolitan Atlanta.

For them, it has always been about what happens between the lines and continuing to build upon the foundation on which NAVC was founded. They offer a family friendly environment. That is why their families choose them. They are proud of the accomplishments that have occurred between those lines and the legacy of excellence that was established long ago.
